Holistic Well-being Programs

Alongside our educational and emotional support provision, we provide access to free holistic well-being workshops/classes in a variety of different settings.

Holistic therapies for children aim to address the well-being of the whole child, including their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive aspects.

We have a list of fully trained practitioners who deliver the following modalities:

Breathwork

Breathwork involves intentional control of breathing for physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Techniques vary, including diaphragmatic breathing, box breathing, and mindful breathing. Benefits may include stress reduction, improved focus and energy, and emotional well-being.

Yoga

Yoga is a holistic practice that combines physical postures, breath control and meditation principles to promote overall well-being. Originating in ancient India, yoga aims to unite the mind, body, and spirit. During a session, a practitioner plays the instruments in a rhythmic and meditative manner, creating a rich tapestry of harmonious vibrations. The practice is believed to have various benefits for mental, emotional, and physical well-being, fostering a deep sense of tranquility and mindfulness.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the current moment, without judgment. It involves cultivating awareness of one's thoughts, feelings, and surroundings. Through techniques like focused breathing or meditation, mindfulness promotes mental clarity, reduces stress, and enhances overall well-being.

EFT(Tapping)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), commonly known as tapping, is a therapeutic technique that involves gently tapping on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on a particular issue or emotion. Rooted in principles of acupuncture and psychology, EFT aims to address emotional and physical distress by restoring the balance of energy in the body's meridian system. Practitioners tap with their fingertips on points such as the top of the head, eyebrow or under the nose. EFT is used to alleviate stress, anxiety, and negative emotions, promoting a sense of emotional freedom and well-being.
